Culture of Safety

Safety Is No Accident

At EC Company & EC Power Systems, we believe all accidents and injuries are preventable. Our top-down commitment to ZERO accidents and injuries translates to savings for our customers. The prevention of accidents and injuries is achieved through control of the working environment and control of our actions and attitudes.

Among our most valued assets is the combined knowledge and experience of our supervisors, foreman, and craft personnel who accept their responsibilities to prevent accidents and injuries while working. Safety is everyone’s personal responsibility. The quest for an Incident Free Environment is what drives us, making safety a part of our company’s fabric - not an appendage.

Each employee understands that safe performance requires careful planning. Planning creates a safe workplace and promotes efficient performance in all aspects of our work. A company that has an effective safety program will have a working environment in which operations can be conducted economically, efficiently and, above all, safely.

Committed to our Communities

EC Power Systems believes it’s important to give back and support the causes that improve the lives of those around us; our employees, our clients, our families, and our neighbors. From the communities where we work to the places where our generators and engines are sold, our goal is to make a difference and enrich our quality of life.

Loaves and Fishes

Each week 2 of our 30 plus employee volunteers take a company van and deliver meals to homebound seniors. This is a great reminder of how an hour or two can make a huge difference to those who can’t manage cooking or buying food for themselves.

Habitat for Humanity
EC Power Systems volunteers from several of our branches partner with Habitat for Humanity in their local areas to build two to three homes for deserving families each year. Our volunteer builders range in experience from highly skilled electricians to novice office employees.

Supporting Our People
In addition to our primary causes we also support a variety of other causes that are important to our employees; youth sports team sponsorships, Race for the Cure participation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, blood drives, food banks...even building a school in Uganda, Africa. We are deeply committed to the communities we serve.
